Back in the Day – DC Boomer

I love sitting down and getting an “old timer” to start jawing about a dog that I can only read about in books. When I visited dog trainer, Bill Gibbons of Magma Bird Dogs in Arizona, I learned that even though he currently concentrates on training and breaking dogs (and running an occasional dog in American Field), back in the day, he had trained and campaigned a Top 10 Weimaraner named Boomer in AKC. Boomer was also a Dual Champion (DC Takusan’s Sonic Boom) and both his parents were Dual Champions (DC Halann’s The Judge v Reiteralm x DC Arimar’s Lovely Lyric) which makes him extra special!
